About me...

 

I have always had a keen interest in shipping and in particular the Ferry Sector since a young age. I attribute that interest to many family holidays each year travelling by sea across the North Channel with P&O and Sealink later Stena Line to mainland UK.

 

After leaving School I studied an HNC in Nautical Science and worked towards an NVQ in Merchant Vessel operations at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies. I spent approx. 3 years working at sea in differing roles and as a Trainee Deck Officer. In this time working for 2 of the UK's largest ferry operators P&O Ferries & Stena Line.

 

Today I have taken my interest in photography and combined it with my knowledge and interest in the Merchant Shipping Industry to bring you photos of vessels throughout the UK and Eire, plan further afield in the future.
