Seatruck Ferries

Seatruck Ferries operate a dedicated freight service on 3 routes across the Irish Sea. The company began to operate in the late 90's with their Warrenpoint - Heysham service, which still operates today. The company has been very successful and in 20 years now operate a modern fleet of Ro Ro freight ships on their Irish Sea services and own a number of others. Having went through the process of designing and building 2 purpose built groups of ships, the P Class and the FSG Class. The company unfortunately did make the headlines in Jan/Feb 2008 when the Riverdance was unfortunately beached and broken up on a blackpool beach following cargo shifting in severe weather. Although the ship and cargo was lost there was most importantly no loss of life. In 2022 the company was purchased by CLdN from the Clipper Group. This has led to rebranding a number of the vessels with the Clipper Prefix. In 2023 the company confirmed it would no longer be accepting any passenger bookings and solely operate as a freight service.
