Stena Estrid

Stena Estrid currently operates the Rosslare-Cherbourg service due to post brexit changes in trading routes. Built in China in 2019 the Stena Estrid is the first of a new generation of ROPAX design known as E-Flexer. Stena Estrid entered service from Holyhead to Dublin in January 2020 with a maiden commercial voyage delayed due to storm brendan. Stena Estrid spent much of spring 2020 laid up at Loch Ryan Port, Cairnryan undergoing maintenance. Later in 2020 the vessel seen service on the Belfast-Cairnryan route covering refit of the Superfast Vessels. Due to increase in direct France-Ireland freight volumes and decrease in GB-Ireland freight the Stena Estrid was redeployed on the Cherbourg service. The Stena Estrid also completed the first voyage of a new Dublin-Cherbourg service for Stena Line.
