Epsilon

Epsilon operates Dublin - Holyhead and Dublin - Cherbourg services for Irish Ferries. Built in 2011 in Italy by Cantiere Navale Visentini as Cartour Epsilon. Began operating for Irish Ferries in 2013/14 and renamed Epsilon. The vessel operates Holyhead services supporting the Ulysses and Jonathan Swift whilst operating as sole vessel on the Dublin - Cherbourg route. In february 2016 Epsilon made national and international headlines during storm Imogen. The vessel faced force 11 winds which caused cargo to shift and a significant number of vehicles were damaged on its vehicle decks. The vessel had to shelter from the storm off the English Coast and was significant delayed arriving back into Dublin from Cherbourg.
