Stena Horizon

Stena Horizon operates the Rosslare - Cherbourg route for Stena Line. Built in 2006 by Cantiere Navale Visentini as Cartour Beta for Levantina Trasporti. Caronte & Tourist Italy chartered the vessel which operated from Sicily. In 2011 Celtic Link Ferries chartered the vessel on a 5 year agreement and the vessel was renamed Celtic Horizon for the Rosslare - Cherbourg service. In 2014 Stena Line purchased Celtic Link Ferries and the charter of the vessel, shortly after the vessel was renamed Stena Horizon. In January 2016 Stena Horizon was tasked with covering Stena Line's Irish Sea refit period. Following a visit to H&W for dry docking the vessel took up service on the Dublin - Holyhead route to cover the refit of 4 Stena Line vessels. During this time the Rosslare - Cherbourg service has been covered by a near sister Stena Flavia.
